Set altnick (Eggdrop Configuration)

This is a required configuration of eggdrop bots as they need to know which alternative nicknames are available to them should the initial nickname be in use/reserved/etc. This setting may include wildcards (?), which designate a random character within the nickname.

Example:

set altnick "LamestB?t"

This variable could have any listed keyboard character returned in the place of ? within the nickname. This means, the more ? placed within the nickname the quicker it is to connect, but the harder it is to find.
