Handle

Every eggdrop bot has a user file in which users are stored when they are given access. Each user entry is stored with a handle which is a nickname by which the bot uses for user identification. When using StormBot and a user is added to an eggdrop, the nickname they have at the time of addition is used as the user's handle.

Though users may change nicknames, the handle will not change without user or bot administrator intervention via special commands. On a StormBot the user may change their own handle by using the HANDLE command. 

/MSG <YOUR_BOT'S_NICKNAME> HANDLE <NEW_HANDLE>

Administrators may change a user's handle by issuing the CHHANDLE command: 

/MSG <YOUR_BOT'S_NICKNAME> CHHANDLE <OLD_HANDLE> <NEW HANDLE>
